It was another top year for Jog for Jugs Australia 2016, Coolangatta/Tweed Heads, Mermaid Beach and Darwin raising more than $5600. Thank you everyone for your unbelievable generosity and Jeff, Andrew and Luke and your team from Mermaid Beach, Sarah and your crew from Coolangatta/Tweed and Dodgy, Lexi, Christina, Jamie, Wendy, Kharm and Anthony in Darwin for making this morning possible. It was a ripper with industrial cranes to tutus creating a buzz on some of Australia’s iconic beaches. Here’s to Jog for Jugs 2017.
A message from Sarah, our fabulous Jog for Jugs – Coolangatta/Tweed Heads host; Thanks to all who participated this year we managed to raise $1,198.00 for the Coolangatta jog. Spread the word and let’s make it bigger and better next year. Special thanks to our guest speakers Gail O’Neill – Councillor Division 14 City of Gold Coast & Alison Baker – spokesperson for National Breast Cancer Foundation & special mention to Candy Walters Super Human Fitness for being such a great help leading up to the event and on the day and of course Professionals Coolangatta Tweed who volunteered their time to organise and run the event.
To celebrate the fifth year of Jog for Jugs Australia we had six exciting events across the country this year. Together we’ve raised over $12 000.
There were enormously generous mums/dads with littlies, friends, pollies, touching personal stories, pets, pink hair, the new JFJ singlets, unbelievable blue skies and a tonne of fun. Thank you so much to you all on the Gold Coast, at Coolangatta/Tweed Heads, Scarborough, Cape York, Ayr and Darwin for joining Jog for Jugs Australia 2015 and making our five-year milestone memorable.
