WA and QLD 2013 – Sold Out

Jog for Jugs has had a momentous third year in 2013. We were truly blessed with a beautiful, blue sky backdrop that really set the scene for two remarkable days on the Gold Coast, QLD and Scarborough, WA. So many people from all walks of life, ages, fitness levels and reasons for participating joined us again to jog and/or walk on both beaches. We saw such incredible generosity with an overwhelming number of people bringing donations from having done their own fundraising. Our hot, pink Jog for Jugs t-shirts sold out in both states and few of us from the Jog for Jugs crew happily sold the shirts off our backs to some eager participants who were surprised but equally grateful. One participant who bought a shirt also kindly took it off to allow someone else the chance to have it.

The interest in the event from businesses has also been very encouraging and the offers of sponsorship have made me realise that Jog for Jugs really has something to offer everyone in various capacities. This year with your support we achieved some significant milestones; doubled numbers in Perth, doubled fundraising in QLD and raised the largest amount since the event began. For 2013, Jog for Jugs raised $9170. To date the initiative has raised almost $20 000 allowing Jog for Jugs to continue to function and donate to breast cancer.
